Bangor Tyre Service Ltd started trading in 1987.Two local men, Gwyn and Dewi, providing a comprehensive, efficient and competitive service for private motorists and Businesses seven days a week. This seven day service applies today as it did over 30 years ago. The initial premises where situated behind the former Railway Hotel adjacent Bangor Railway Station. As the business developed a larger site was acquired in 1992 at Caernarfon Road Bangor LL57 4SU.Thereafter the current building, on the same site was built and occupied during 2011/2012 which provided modern facilities and larger premises for the benefit of Customers and Staff. During over thirty years uninterrupted trading Bangor Tyre Service has developed and matured into a competitive and thriving Business providing employment for many local people.
Currently there are ten persons employed at Bangor Tyre Service. The Tyre Fitting Team and the Motor Technicians are all fully trained and experienced. This along with the expertise and knowledge of the Office Management Team provide the customer with the assurance of a professional, efficient and courteous service every time. Our customer base includes, Private Motorists, Local and National Private Businesses, many Governmental Departments, the Agricultural Community the North Wales Police and many visitors to North Wales. Bangor Tyre Service carry out a wide range of services for our customers which include MOTs, vehicle servicing and repairs, Diagnostics, Air Conditioning service and repairs,DPF service, computerised digital wheel alignment, vehicle batteries, exhausts and of course tyre fitting and puncture repair. We also provide a 24 hour mobile tyre fitting service. Our aim is to continually provide an outstanding competitive service in a friendly atmosphere where all customers feel comfortable when they visit to discuss their requirements with no obligations whatsoever.
